El Campello

El Campello is a village on a hill with a view over the 23 kilometres long, pearly white and quiet beaches to the north of Alicante, Located facing the L'Almadrava beach, near the residential development Poble español, El Campello Playa Residencial offers you life in harmony with nature, in a splendid climate, between beaches and mountains, and in surroundings filled with peace and calm. It has excellent road and rail connections.

If you want to enjoy of the beach and some peace and quiet, then El Campello is an excellent alternative as it doesn't have a lot of the usual effects of mass tourism. Nevertheless all of the usual tourist facilities are within easy reach.

The Paseo del Mar, or promenade, is almost 2 miles long and makes for a lovely evening stroll in the setting sun; during the day, take advantage of the beaches and sea. There is a huge choice of authentic Spanish restaurants and bars, all serving delicious meals or tapas. The El Campello Marina sits at one end of the bay, offering both a lively fish market and a selection of sumptuous restaurants.

The surrounding countryside and mountains are spectacular and within 0.5 hours drive from the coastline. The scenery is beautiful and dotted with fascinating mountain villages, all with a history and a story to tell. Views from the lofty mountain fortress of Guadalest rival those from anywhere else in Spain, and it is said that you can see as far as Ibiza on a clear day. An incredibly varied cultural experience awaits those willing to explore the area, as a Bavarian influence blends comfortably with the old Catalan traditions.
